At Mayah's Legacy, we help women become confident in speaking up for themselves and others, especially when it comes to medical appointments. Our Sister Advocate Training Program teaches women how to support each other in healthcare settings, whether it's at the doctor’s office or a hospital visit.

Here’s how we do it:

-
Building Confidence: We help women feel sure of themselves when it comes to their health. This means teaching them how to ask the right questions, understand their rights, and speak up during medical appointments.
-
Self-Advocacy Skills: We show women how to stand up for their health needs. They learn how to express themselves clearly, ask for the care they need, and make informed decisions about their health.
-
Supporting Each Other: We train women to be there for others during appointments. As Sister Advocates, they provide emotional support and help their peers feel more comfortable speaking up about their health.
-
Creating a Safe Space: We teach women how to make sure others feel heard and supported. Our Sister Advocates create a safe space where women can openly talk about their health without fear of judgment.

Through this training, we are building a community of women who feel confident and capable in managing their health and supporting one another. At Mayah’s Legacy, we believe that when women support women, we can all thrive.
Building Confidence, One Step at a Time.
